Google introduced a new logo for Gmail, Bye Bye to Mail envelope.

The new Gmail logo is currently a letter M using Google's unique quad shading blend of different colours. The envelope is no more.

According to research, almost 1.5 billion people use Gmail for exchange of all your daily mails. You would have noticed that the previous logo is like a white envelope with borders covered in red.

The new logo of Gmail is the letter M consist of 4 colours: Blue, Red, Green, and a shade of yellow. This is the same colour combination used in other logos of different Google platforms like Chrome, Google Maps, Google Photos, Play store, and more.

Google has also revamped its Calendar, Docs, Meet, and Sheets logos to match the new Gmail design. The new logos are one aspect of a greater remould of Google's G Suite, which is presently Google Workspace.

"Google Workspace gives people a familiar, fully integrated user experience that helps everyone succeed in this new reality whether you're in an office, working from home, on the frontlines, or engaging with customers," notes Google blog post.

The further post quotes, “In the coming months we'll also be bringing this new experience to consumers to help them do things like setting up a neighbourhood group, manage a family budget, or plan a celebration using integrated tools like Gmail, Chat, Meet, Docs, and Tasks."
